The significance of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for trade of EU countries

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce „Význam Euro – středomořského partnerství pro obchod zemí EU“ je posouzení vlivů této dohody na vzájemný obchod států EU a Středomoří a vyhodnocení ekonomického pokroku středomořských států. První část je zaměřena na základní charakteristiku Euro – středomořského partnerství, iniciativy jeho vzniku a pokroky, kterých bylo v rámci partnerství středomořskými státy dosaženo hlavně z hlediska ekonomické výkonnosti. V druhé části se pak zabývám zahraničním obchodem EU a posouzením, zda a jakým způsobem ovlivnilo uzavření této dohody obchod EU se středomořskými státy.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis: “The significance of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for trade of EU countries” is to analyze the impacts of this agreement for trade of the EU and Mediterranean countries and exploring of their economical progress. The first part will concentrate on basic characteristics of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, initiatives of its establishment and progress made by Mediterranean countries in light of economic performance. In the second part I will deal with foreign trade of the EU and explore if this agreement influenced foreign trade in the EU and Mediterranean.
