Position of social worker at the Labour Office of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá postavením sociálních pracovníků, kteří působí v rámci organizace Úřadu práce ČR nejenom jako sociální pracovníci, ale také jako úředníci. Obsahem je teoretická část, která popisuje organizaci Úřadu práce ČR jako instituci, které bylo svěřeno v sociální politice České republiky významné místo – je nástrojem výplaty dávek sociální péče lidem, kteří pomoc státu potřebují. Práce dále ukazuje, jaké je složení Úřadu práce ČR, jeho vznik, činnosti a právní předpisy, kterými se při výkonu práce řídí. Dále jsou popsány teoretické poznatky z oblasti sociální práce – metody, osobnost sociálního pracovníka, etický kodex sociálního pracovníka. V aplikační části mé práce se chci zaměřit na zjištění názorů ostatních sociálních pracovníků z jiných organizací, na postavení a roli sociálního pracovníka na Úřadu práce ČR.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the position of social workerswho work within the organization of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic not only as social workers but also as officials. The content is a theoretical part which describes the organization of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic as an institution that has been entrusted with an important place in the social policy of the Czech Republic - is a place where it is a tool for payment of social care benefits for people who apply and need help from the state. Thesisfurther showscomposition of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic, its origin, activities and legal regulationswhich they follow in the performance of work. Theoretical knowledge from the field of social work is also described- methods, personality of a social worker, code of ethics of a social worker. In the application part of my work I want to focus on finding out the opinions of other social workers from other organizations, on the position and role of a social worker at the Labor Office of the Czech Republic.
