Business Plan - A Service to Combat Piracy on Content Sharing Subscription Platforms

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit podnikatelský plán pro nově vznikající společnost, která má za cíl potírat nový druh pirátství na digitálních membership platformách. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou definovány digitální membership platformy, popsána jejich historie a následně jsou vybrány tři platformy k podrobnějšímu popisu. Dále je v teoretické části ukázána a popsána struktura podnikatelského plánu a jsou formulovány a popsány jednotlivé techniky použité v podnikatelském plánu, jako např. SWOT analýza nebo Lean Canvas. V praktické části je vypracován podnikatelský plán na unikátní a inovativní službu, která má za cíl zastavit pirátství ze zmíněných platforem. Součástí plánu je popis podnikatelské příležitosti, business model popsaný pomocí metody Lean Canvas, analýza trhu, marketingový mix, finanční plán, analýza rizik a další. Podnikatelský plán považuji za životaschopný a vhodný k realizaci.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for an emerging company focused on combating a new form of piracy on digital membership platforms. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines digital membership platforms, provides an overview of their history, and includes a detailed description of three selected platforms. Additionally, it outlines the structure of a business plan and discusses various techniques employed in its development, such as SWOT analysis and Lean Canvas. In the practical part, a business plan is developed based on the concepts introduced in the theoretical section. This plan is for a unique and innovative service designed to prevent piracy on the aforementioned platforms. It includes a description of the business opportunity, a business model structured using the Lean Canvas method, a market analysis, a marketing mix, a financial plan, a risk analysis, and more. I consider the business plan to be viable and suitable for implementation.
