Economic analysis of selected company

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je provést rozbor situace vybraného podniku z pohledu jeho finančního zdraví a tržní pozice a navrhnout opatření k odstranění či posílení slabých míst ve finančním zdraví v návaznosti na příležitosti a hrozby, které podniku nabízí jeho okolí. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy a nástroje obsažené v dílčích částech ekonomické analýzy spolu s vybranými koncepty strategického řízení malých potažmo rodinných podniků. V analytické části práce jsou postupně provedeny analýzy makroprostředí, mikroprostředí a vnitřního nefinančního prostředí společnosti KOLTICO s.r.o., která sídlí v Holešově a dlouhodobě působí převážně na českém trhu s pneumatikami. Finanční analýza společnosti je provedena zvlášť a ve větším rozsahu. Výsledky jednotlivých analýz jsou vyhodnoceny pomocí SWOT analýzy a vstupují do návrhové části, která je hlavním výstupem práce. V závěru práce je poté vyhodnoceno naplnění jejích cílů.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the situation of the selected company in terms of its financial health and market position and to propose initiatives to eliminate or strengthen weaknesses in financial health in relation to opportunities and threats that arise from the analysis of the company’s environment. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and tools contained in sub-parts of economic analysis, along with selected concepts of strategic management of small and family businesses. In the analytical part of the thesis are gradually performed analysis of the macroenvironment, microenvironment and internal non-financial environment of the company KOLTICO s.r.o., which has its registered office in Holešov and long-term tradition on the Czech tyre market. The financial analysis of the company is performed separately and to a greater extent. The results of individual analysis are evaluated using SWOT analysis and enter to the part with initiatives, which is the main output of the thesis. At the end of the thesis the fulfillment of its goals is evaluated.
