Sense of rhythm and its enhancement using the Orff instruments and music and motion activities

Abstract:

Hudba jako projev umělecké seberealizace je tak stará jako lidstvo samo. Po celou dobu jeho existence provázela člověka nejdůležitějšími okamžiky života. Právě rytmická složka hudebního projevu byla dost často tou dominantní. Jakoby odrážela zákonitosti běžného bytí, kdy se rovněž s železnou pravidelností různé jevy opakují. Rozvoj rytmického cítění není jakýmsi novodobým nebo dokonce snad módním trendem. Je organickou a závažnou součástí pedagogické práce. V tomto smyslu se jeví systematické studium této problematiky jako důležité. Stěžejní potřebou je pravidelná a pestrá aktivní činnost dětí. Na principu aktivního zapojení je založena Orffova škola.

Abstract:

Music as an expression of artistic self-realization is as old as the mankind itself. Through the whole history of existence of human beings, music was present in the most important moments in the life of man and their everyday life. It was right the element of rhythm in the musical expression which often played a dominant role. As if it reflected the regularities of everyday life in which different phenomenons appear strictly regularly, that is to say rhythmically. The development od rhythm sensation is no new topical issue or a fashion trend. It is an organic and important part of pedagogic work. Systematic studying of this area, of rhythm sensation reinforcement, is seen as important. The essential need is a regular and colourful spectre of activities of children. It is the Orff School that is based on this principle of active involvement of children.
