Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Vybrané problémy strukturálních reforem“ je analýza transformačních procesů České republiky a Slovenska v oblasti fiskální politiky v kontextu jejich členství v Evropské unii. První část je zaměřena na vyhodnocení transformačního období před členstvím v EU, strategii východního rozšiřování EU a genezi vstupu obou zemí do Unie. Druhá část zpracovává fiskální reformy na úrovni EU i národních států České republiky a Slovenska. Zejména je kladen důraz na komparaci vývoje národních veřejných dluhů a pozic obou zemí v rámci eurozóny

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis „Selected problems of structural reforms“ is to analyse the transformation process of the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the field of fiscal policy in the context of their membership in the European Union. The first part focuses on assessment of transformation period before the entering into EU, eastern enlargement strategy of EU and genesis of accession of these two states to Union. The second part deals with the fiscal reforms on the level of EU, as well as on the national level of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The thesis lays great emphasis on comparation of national public debt progress and positions of both actors within Eurozone
