The Structural Unemployment in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se soustřeďuje na analýzu strukturální nezaměstnanosti v ČR v období 2004-2022. Práce je členěná na tři části. První část práce se zaměřuje obecně na nezaměstnanost, na možnosti měření, důvody vzniku, její typy, možné následky a také na ohrožené skupiny nezaměstnanosti. Dále se zaměřuje na vymezení strukturální nezaměstnanosti, na její vlastnosti, příčiny, negativní dopady a také na její rešerší literatury. Taktéž vymezuje Beveridgeovu křivku, jenž posloužila ke znázornění strukturální nezaměstnanosti. Druhá část se soustřeďovala na znázornění strukturální nezaměstnanosti a na strukturu nezaměstnanosti v rámci celé ČR a na úrovní postižených krajů. Dále se zaměřovala na možné faktory, jež mohou způsobovat tento typ nezaměstnanosti. Poslední část se koncentrovala na zhodnocení opatření na podporu zaměstnanosti a také na návrhy, jež by měly posílit zaměstnanost.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of structural unemployment in the Czech Republic in the period 2004-2022. The work is divided into three parts. The first part of the work focuses on unemployment in general, on measurement possibilities, reasons for its occurrence, its types, possible consequences and also on groups at risk of unemployment. It also focuses on the definition of structural unemployment, its characteristics, causes, negative effects and also on its literature review. It also defines the Beveridge curve, which was used to represent structural unemployment. The second part focused on the representation of structural unemployment and the structure of unemployment within the entire Czech Republic and at the level of the affected regions. She also focused on possible factors that can cause this type of unemployment. The last part focused on the evaluation of measures to support employment and also on proposals that should strengthen employment.
