Analysis of the results of municipal elections in the town of Přerov in the years 2014 to 2022.

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce se zabývá analýzou výsledků komunálních voleb v Přerově v letech 2014 až 2022. Součástí práce je přiblížit historii města Přerova, ale především popsat charakter komunálních voleb a zpracovat výsledky voleb do zastupitelstva města Přerova v komunálních volbách, které se uskutečnily v letech 2014, 2018 a 2022. Cílem práce bylo porovnání kandidátů i zvolených zastupitelů dle věku a pohlaví, volební účast a srovnání s jinými městy i celou republikou, porovnání volební účasti v komunálních volbách s volební účastí u parlamentních i krajských voleb. Dále jsem sledoval úspěšnost kandidujících volebních subjektů dle procentuálního výsledku i dle získaných zastupitelských mandátů a srovnání v rámci celého sledovaného období 2014-2022.

Abstract:

The final thesis deals with the analysis of the results of the municipal elections in Přerov in the years 2014 to 2022. Part of the thesis is to describe the history of the town of Přerov, but above all to describe the character of the municipal elections and to process the results of the elections to the Přerov City Council in the municipal elections that took place in 2014, 2018 and 2022. The aim of the thesis was to compare candidates and elected representatives by age and gender, voter turnout and comparison with other cities and the whole country, comparison of voter turnout in municipal elections with voter turnout in parliamentary and regional elections. I also monitored the success of the candidates according to the percentage result and according to the seats won and comparisons across the entire monitored period 2014-2022.
