Zahajujeme-li nové podnikatelské činnosti, je potřebné sestavit si podnikatelský plán, který nás pak provází celým podnikáním. V něm je zachyceno, čeho se bude týkat daná podnikatelská činnost. V první části plánu je nastíněno, jak by daný podnik byl založen a co by bylo jeho prioritou, např. co by bylo předmětem prodeje.
