The thesis focuses on summing up the information needed to understand the issue of post-traumatic chronic ankle instability. It is divided into two essential parts. The theoretical part focuses on describing the functional anatomy and bio - mechanics of the ankle joint and the foot, kinesiology of the foot, its stabilization function and also its relation to the torso.
