Analysis of the Current State of External Communication of Public Sector Employees with the Public

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu současného stavu externí komunikace pracovníků veřejné správy s veřejností. Cílem práce je zjistit úroveň komunikace mezi magistrátem a obyvateli vybraného města a identifikovat klíčové bariéry, které brání efektivní komunikaci. Teoretická část se zabývá definicí klíčových pojmů souvisejících s veřejnou správou, komunikací a digitální transformací veřejné správy. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu výsledků dotazníkového šetření mezi občany a individuálního rozhovoru s pracovníkem magistrátu. Na základě shromážděných údajů je provedeno hodnocení stávající komunikace a jsou navržena řešení pro její zlepšení, včetně optimalizace používání moderních komunikačních nástrojů a zjednodušení administrativního jazyka. Výsledky práce naznačují významný potenciál pro zlepšení interakce veřejné správy s občany a posílení jejich důvěry ve veřejné instituce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the current state of external communication of public administration employees with the public. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of communication between the city government and residents of the selected city and to identify key barriers that prevent effective communication. The theoretical part deals with the definition of key concepts related to public administration, communication, and digital transformation of public administration. The practical part includes an analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey among citizens and an individual interview with a municipal employee. Based on the collected data, an assessment of the existing communication is made and solutions for its improvement are proposed, including optimizing the use of modern communication tools and simplifying the administrative language. The results of the work indicate significant potential for improving the interaction of public administration with citizens and strengthening their trust in public institutions.
