Buddy programme as an instrument for multicultural education and its impact on international students of Erasmus on Univerzity Pardubice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena v obecné rovině na multikulturní výchovu a konkrétním objektem se stal Buddy program. Je zde popsáno jeho celkové fungování a práce. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o multikulturním vzdělávání a komunikaci. Zaměřena je též na typologie národů a jazyka a národnostních menšin. K úplnosti je rozebrána pomoc zahraničním studentům, vázaná na historii migrační politiky, na správní orgány a základní dokumenty a cizinecké právo. V praktické části je dáno za cíl zjistit, zda Buddy program pomohl zahraničním studentům Erasmu či jeho příslušníkům v akademických letech 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015. Dále se bakalářská práce zabývá všeobecnými podmínkami a srovnáním tohoto systému v naší zemi a zahraničí a v samém závěru se zjišťuje, zda tento program pomáhá při odbourání předsudků a sbližování národů.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused in general on multicultural education and a particular object became Buddy program. It is described here the overall functioning and work. The theoretical part contains information on multicultural education and communication. It is focus also on the typology of nations and language minorities. The completeness is discussed aid for international students linked to the history of migration policy, the administrative authorities and the basic documents and foreign law. In the practical part of the balanced aims to determine whether Buddy program has helped foreign students Erasmus or its members in the years 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the general conditions and comparing this system in our country and abroad, and at the very end to find out whether this program helps in eliminating prejudice and bringing people together.
