Factors determining the perception of the armed forces by the public

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje zkoumání faktorů, které mají zásadní vliv na vnímání ozbrojených sil a předně Armády České republiky veřejností. Práce se skládá ze dvou na sebe navazujících částí. První je teoretická část, která popisuje nejen jednotlivé složky ozbrojených sil a jejich hlavní úkoly, ale seznamuje také již s některými determinanty, které ovlivňují pohled veřejnosti na ozbrojené síly. Jedná se jak o negativní, tak i o pozitivní vlivy. Další důležitou kapitolou v teoretické části je kapitola, která pojednává o změnách v nahlížení na ozbrojené síly, ke kterým docházelo průběžně postupem let. Navazující praktická část se zabývá zkoumáním získaných poznatků z dotazníkového šetření. Výzkumu se účastnili pouze mužští respondenti, kteří vysvětlovali své názory, myšlenky a postoje na mnohé oblasti ozbrojených sil. Díky jejich odpovědím bylo možné určit, které faktory patří mezi ty klíčové.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the investigation of factors that have a fundamental influence on the public's perception of the armed forces and, above all, of the Army of the Czech Republic. The work consists of two consecutive parts. The first is the theoretical part, which describes not only the individual components of the armed forces and their main tasks, but also introduces some of the determinants that influence the public's view of the armed forces. These are both negative and positive influences. Another important chapter in the theoretical part is the chapter that discusses the changes in the perception of the armed forces that have occurred over the years. The subsequent practical part deals with the examination of the knowledge gained from the questionnaire survey. Only male respondents participated in the research, explaining their opinions, thoughts and attitudes on many areas of the armed forces. Thanks to their answers, it was possible to determine which factors are among the key ones.
