Mining activites as limit of development Zlate Hory region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem území Zlatohorska, převážně obce Zlaté Hory, v důsledku těžby. V první části se práce zabývá seznámení s územím, jak v minulosti, tak i v přítomnosti. Právě minulost je pro tuto oblast zásadní. Změny, které se v historii udály byly důležitým prvkem pro dynamický vývoj území. Hornictví se projevilo v demografii, geografii a životním prostředí oblasti. Tyto změny jsou patrné dodnes. Pozornost se zaměřuje na současnou životní úroveň ve městě a okolí a vývoj situace po ukončení těžební činnosti. Autorka chce upozornit na možnost využít opomíjené, přesto podstatné přírodní i kulturní prvky v krajině a jejich další možnosti. Další část práce je soustředěna na současnou problematiku města Zlaté Hory a jejich dalšího rozvoje. Práce bude doplněna o grafy, fotografie a tabulky. Autorka následně srovná toto území s jinou oblastí těžby.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of the terrirory of Zlatohorsko, mainly the village of Zlaté Hory, as a result of mining. The first part deals with the introduction to the territory, both in the past and in the present. It is the past that is crucial for this area. The changes that have taken place in history have been an important element for the dynamic development of the territory. Mining manifested itself in demography, geography and environment of the area. These changes are still visible today. Attention is focused on the current standart of living in the city and its surroundings and the development of the situation after mining activities had been finished. The author wants to draw attention to the possibility of using neglected, yet essential natural and cultural elements in the landscape and their other possibilities. The next part of the work is focused on the current issues of the city of Zlaté Hory and next development. The work is supplemented by graphs, photographs and tables. The author then compares this place with another area of mining.
