Práce se zabývá procesem výběru partnera. V první části jsou popsány teoretické poznatky, které se týkají tématu. Cílem práce je popis hodnot a charakteristik, které ženy při výběru partnera upřednostňují. Práce popisuje možnosti vzniku homogamních či heterogamních partnerství a snaží se především o odhalení rozdílů mezi jednotlivými vzdělanostními skupinami.
