Observation of Male Homosexuality as a Topic in German Literature Since 1950s on example of Verwirrnis of Christoph Hein, Kleinstadtnovelle of Ronald M. Schernikau and #ichwillihnberühren of OJ&ER

Abstract:

This work deals with the observation of the male homosexuality in Europe since the second half of the 20th century. The author has chosen three literary works with the focus on the ephebic themes. In the first chapter there are professional pieces of knowledge relative to the homosexuality. The gay sexual orientation is examined from the biological point of view and some other natural sciences. It is evident that the human sexuality is an innate feature and cannot be regarded as an instructed demeanour. The central point of the second chapter is examined from the view of the Catholic and the Protestant Church. Both these churches have been chosen due to the fact that the books are set in the German territory. In the third part the focus is extended on the European perspective and its history. There are more forms of the human sexuality presented and the chapter is completed with the themes of homophobia and liberalization. All the analysed literary works concern the sexual matters especially among young people. The psychosocial human evolution is essential for the analysis and the understandings of the stories, needs and consequences of the main protagonists and their social surroundings. The development of an individual makes the core in this chapter. The stress is put on the local ambiance and the role of family as an institution. The main aim of this dissertation is to research the observation of homosexuality since 1950s. The German society has experienced a shift in opinions about gayness to a certain extent. All above mentioned main works are principally examined factually and they are also compared with each other. Prejudices and clichés are pointed out.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tématem vnímaní mužské homosexuality od druhé poloviny 20. století v Evropě na příkladu autorem vybraných tří děl německé adolescentní literatury orientované na problematiku sexuální identity. První kapitoly této práce jsou věnovány odborným poznatkům problematice homosexuality. Stejnopohlavní orientace je nejdříve zkoumána z pohledu biologie a jiných přírodních věd. Je očividné, že sexualita člověka je vrozená a nemůže proto být naučeným chováním. Ohnisko zájmu další kapitoly je spatřováno v pohledu katolické a protestantské církve na zkoumaný fenomén. Katolická a evangelická církev byly vybrány z toho důvodu, protože se děje zkoumaných primárních děl odehrávají na německém území. V kapitole třetí je přiblížena tato problematika z pohledu evropských dějin a současné evropské společnosti. Je představeno více forem homosexuality a kapitola je uzavřena tématem homofobie a liberalizace. Zkoumaná díla pojednávají o hlavní problematice z pohledu adolescentů. Nastínění psychosociálního vývoje lidského jedince bylo považováno za nutné k analýze a pochopení dějů, potřeb a možných následků jednání hlavních postav a jejich sociálního prostředí. Největší prostor byl věnován průběhu vývoje jedince s důrazem na sociální okolí. Lokální prostředí a nejdůležitější role rodiny byly akcentovány. Práce si klade za cíl zkoumat vnímání homosexuality od padesátých let. Určitý posun v percepci sexuality byl v německé společnosti pozorován. Výše zmíněná primární díla jsou především věcně a tematicky analyzována a následně spolu porovnána. Předsudky a klišé ve společnosti jsou zdůrazněny.
