Strategies used by the inhabitants of social excluded lokality Předlice to ensure their resources

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je způsob obživy osob žijících v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách. Na základě jiného kulturního či ekonomického kapitálu a etnické odlišnosti od většinové společnosti, jsou lidé ohroženi sociálním vyloučením, a tudíž jsou vyloučeni z trhu práce. Lidem je zamezován přístup ke zdrojům. Cílem práce je analyzovat strategie, využívané obyvateli Předlic, jakožto jedné z mnoho vyloučených lokalit na Ústecku, k zajištění svých zdrojů. Na základě rozhovorů s obyvateli, kteří v sociálně vyloučené lokalitě Předlice žijí, se snažím dosáhnout cíle této práce. Mezi další techniky sběru dat, které využívám, patří přímé pozorování v průběhu realizace rozhovorů s respondenty a studium dokumentů, které byly k dané problematice vytvořeny. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že obyvatelé předlické lokality mají především základní potřeby, které chtějí naplnit, a tak jsou rádi za to málo, co mají. Tyto potřeby jsou většinou naplněny ze sociálních dávek.

Abstract:

The theme of my thesis is the people living in socially excluded areas and their means of subsistance. These people are threatened by social exclusion, based on different cultural or economical capital or ethnic differences. Therefore they are excluded from the labour market and prevented from the access to their basic means of support. The objective of my thesis is to analyse the strategies used by these residents to ensure their means of support. These people live in Předlice, which is one of the many excluded localities in Ústí region. Through the interviews with those who live in this area, I tried to answer the objective of my thesis. Other methods of gathering the information, used in my thesis, are observing while interviewing the respondents and the study of the documents, concerning this issue. My research showed , that people living in Předlice, are trying to fulfill their basic needs and are happy with the little they have. In most of the cases they try to satisfy these needs by living on social security.
