Abstract:

Cílem této práce je poukázat na potenciál role ergoterapeuta u dětí na autistickém spektru, a to v jejich raném věku. Absolventská práce v její první kapitole vymezuje okruh osob, kterými se práce zaobírá, tedy děti na autistickém spektru v jejich raném věku. Kapitola pojednává o poruchách autistického spektra jako takových. Stručně charakterizuje klasifikaci jednotlivých poruch, popisuje diagnostiku těchto neurovývojových poruch a podrobně popisuje symptomatologii dětí na autistickém spektru v různých oblastech, což je podkladem terapeutických metod, které je možné u těchto dětí použít. Dále, v druhé kapitole se práce snaží nastínit profesi ergoterapeuta, nejprve v obecné rovině, následně konkretizuje roli ergoterapeuta v pediatrii a v neposlední řadě u dětí na autistickém spektru. Poslední kapitola pak pojednává o samotných terapeutických intervencích, které ergoterapeut může při své práci s dětmi na autistickém spektru v jejich raném věku používat.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to highlight the potential role of an occupational therapist for children on the autism spectrum, specifically in their early age. The thesis's first chapter defines the scope of individuals that the work deals with, namely children on the autism spectrum in their early age. The chapter discusses autism spectrum disorders as a whole, briefly characterizing the classification of each disorder, describing the diagnosis of these neurodevelopmental disorders, and detailing the symptoms of children on the autism spectrum in various areas, which is the basis for the therapeutic methods that can be used for these children. Furthermore, in the second chapter, the work tries to outline the profession of an occupational therapists, first in general, then specifying the role of an occupational therapists in pediatrics and, last but not least, for children on the autism spectrum. The final chapter discusses the therapeutic interventions that an occupational therapists can use when working with children on the autism spectrum in their early age.
