Forms of financing small and medium businesses

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the forms of financing small and medium businesses and its aim is to suggest an optimal form of financing for selected small and medium business. The first chapter of thesis is focused on the definition of basic theoretical background of examined problematics and at the beginning of this chapter provides basic definition of business, then comprehensive definition of the small and medium business and finally also description of the basic forms of financing which are used in this business. The second chapter of thesis has mainly a practical character and deals with the analysis of selected forms of financing, which analysed enterprise used in the years 2011 – 2014. This analysis systematically analyses the selected forms of financing according to different groups of funding sources. It includes internal and external sources of internal financing, internal and external sources of external financing and also specific forms of financing. The third chapter of thesis has a practical character again and deals with the analysis of the specific investment intention of analysed enterprise from the point of possibilities of its realization. This analysis chooses some concrete forms of financing from the second chapter of this thesis and it is mainly about some various credit facilities and financial leasing with its aim to find an optimal variant of financing that special investment.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá formami financovania v malom a strednom podnikaní a jej cieľom je navrhnúť optimálnu formu financovania pre vybraný podnik malého a stredného podnikania. Prvá kapitola práce je zameraná na vymedzenie základných teoretických východísk skúmanej problematiky, pričom v úvode prináša základné vymedzenie podnikania, následne komplexné vymedzenie oblasti malého a stredného podnikania a na záver popis základných foriem financovania využívaných v tomto podnikaní. Druhá kapitola práce má už predovšetkým praktický charakter a zaoberá sa analýzou vybraných foriem financovania, ktoré skúmaný podnik využíval v sledovanom období rokov 2011 až 2014. Jednotlivé formy financovania predmetná analýza skúma systematicky podľa jednotlivých skupín zdrojov financovania od vlastných a cudzích interných zdrojov, cez vlastné a cudzie externé zdroje až po osobitné formy financovania. Tretia kapitola práce má opäť praktický charakter a zaoberá sa analýzou konkrétneho investičného zámeru skúmaného podniku z hľadiska možností jeho realizácie. Zo skúmaných foriem financovania v druhej kapitole vyberá už konkrétne formy, pričom ide predovšetkým o rôzne úverové možnosti a o finančný lízing, s cieľom nájsť optimálny variant financovania.
