Risks In Cross-border Trade

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice rizik v mezinárodním podnikatelském prostředí, která se vyskytují jak na straně prodávajícího, tak na straně kupujícího. Jejím cílem je takováto rizika identifikovat a zároveň představit možnosti jejich prevence. Největší pozornost je upřena na rizika komerční, tržní, teritoriální, odpovědnostní, přepravní a kurzová. Jak vyplynulo ze zjištění, každé zmíněné riziko je velmi specifické a k jeho řízení je zapotřebí odlišný přístup. Konkrétní způsoby jejich zajištění jsou popsány ve druhé části této práce, která zahrnuje například aktivity spojené se správou pohledávek, forfaiting, faktoring, pojištění, bankovní instrumenty aj. Praktická část práce se věnuje tématu pohledem do Česka importujícího podniku a srovnává, na kolik se teoretické zásady shodují s běžnou obchodní praxí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of risks in the international business environment, which occurs both on the side of the seller and on the side of the buyer. Its aim is to identify such risks and to present possibilities of their prevention. The greatest attention is focused on business, market, territorial, liability, transport and exchange rate risks. It has been found that each of these risks is very specific and a different approach is needed to manage it. Particular ways of securing them are described in the second part of this thesis, which includes, for example, activities related to receivables management, forfaiting, factoring, insurance, banking instruments, etc.The practical part of the thesis discusses the topic from the perspective of the Czech import company and compares the theoretical principles with common business practice.
