Abstract:

Závěrečná práce Teaching English with Project Work se zabývá otázkou projektového vyučování v hodinách anglického jazyka. Jejím cílem je shrnout teoretické zázemí a porovnat je s praxí. Pro přehlednost je práce tedy rozdělena na tyto dvě části: teoretickou a praktickou. Praktická část obsahuje několik plánů hodin a zhodnocení realizovaných lekcí. Projektová práce patří k moderním metodám výuky, u studentů je oblíbená, rozšiřuje jejich vědomosti v různých oblastech, podporuje rozvoj sociálních, motorických i komunikativních dovedností, učí žáky využít získané znalosti v běžném životě, posunuje funkci učitele do role partnera při společné práci. I přesto je nutné kombinovat tento přístup s tradičnějšími výukovými metodami.

Abstract:

Final work Teaching English with Project Work deals with the question of project teaching in English lessons. Its aim is to summarize the theoretical background and to compare it with some practical experience. For better lucidity the work is divided into these parts: the theoretical and the practical one. Project work is one of modern teaching methods, students like it, it extens their knowledge in various areas, it supports development of their social, motorical and communicative skills, it teaches them how to use the acquired knowledge in the common life, it shifts the function of a teacher to a role of a partner with the collective work. For all that it is neccessary to combine this approach with more traditional teaching methods.
