Long-term property and depreciations in accounting of the chosen company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Dlouhodobý majetek a odpisy v účetnictví vybrané společnosti” se zaměřuje na teoretické vymezení dlouhodobého majetku a odpisů podle aktuální právní úpravy. V praktické části je provedena analýza dané oblasti u společnosti OPTOKON, a.s. a následně je provedena komparace jiných způsobů odpisování. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny metody odpisování a navrženy změny, které by mohla společnost uplatnit s ohledem na daňovou optimalizaci a zobrazení věrnějšího a pravdivějšího opotřebení majetku.

Abstract:

The thesis “Long-term property and depreciations in accounting of the chosen company” is focused on theoretically defining long-term property and depreciations according to current legislation. Its practical part is concentrated on the analysis of this field, which is conducted on the company OPTOKON, a.s. Then the comparison of the different ways of depreciation is carried out. In the conclusion of this thesis, depreciation methods are evaluated, and changes are proposed, which the company could use in order to show more loyal and truthful long-term property depreciations and tax optimization.
