Oceňování intelektuálního kapitálu

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je poskytnout komplexní přehled o problematice intelektuálního kapitálu a s ním souvisejících otázek. Cílem je identifikovat a ocenit hodnotu intelektuálního kapitálu ve vybrané společnosti na českém trhu a porovnat její účetní a tržní hodnotu včetně IC. V první části je zmapován teoretický přehled a původ definice intelektuálního kapitálu pomocí konceptu, funkce, struktury a klasifikace IC. Následující část popisuje rostoucí význam IC, jeho možnoou identifikaci a vliv na hodnotu společnosti a navíc stanovuje příčiny pro jeho oceňování. Závěrem teoretická část práce poukazuje na rozdíl mezi účetní a tržní hodnotou společnosti včetně IC a poskytuje přehled vhodných modelů pro oceňování IC. Praktická část této práce je zpracována na příkladu vybrané společnosti, identifikaci IC v této společnosti a výběru vhodných modelů pro ocenění IC. Následně je identifikovaný IC vybrané společnosti analyzován, oceněn a vyhodnocen. Závěrem je účetní hodnota společnosti porovnána s její tržní hodnotou včetně hodnoty IC a poskytnut seznam dopororučení pro lepší identifikaci, oceňování, řízení a rozvoj IC ve vybrané společnosti.

Abstract:

The main goal of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of IC and related issues. The objective is to identify and evaluate the value of intellectual capital in a selected company on the Czech market, compare company’s book value and market value including IC. In the first part, theoretical background on a general definition of intellectual capital is mapped with concept, function, structure, and classification of IC. This is followed by identification of IC, its increasing importance nowadays, an impact of IC on the value of companies and causes of the valuation. Last topics of the theoretical part point out differentiation between book and market value including IC, and provide an overview of valuation approaches, methods, and their suitability depending on the aim of the valuation. The practical part of the thesis is presented with the selected company, identification of IC within this company and selection of suitable valuation scenarios. Subsequently, IC of the selected firm is analysed and evaluated with the application of scenario approaches. Finally, book value of the selected company is compared to its market value including the value of IC and a set of recommendations regarding IC in the selected company are proposed.
