Abstract:

V mé práci jsem se zabýval vývojem Severočeského průmyslového muzea v letech 1938–1945. Cílem bylo zmapovat tento vývoj na pozadí válečných událostí, před a po roce 1938, po vypuknutí 2. světové války, která ve svém důsledku znamenala konec německého muzejnictví na Liberecku a převzetí budovy i s jejími bohatými sbírkami českými muzejníky. Celý vývoj končí zásadní změnou charakteru muzea, kdy se stává muzeem vlastivědného typu.

Abstract:

The main theme of my thesis is development of Northern-Bohemian Museum of Industry in time period 1938 - 1945. Aim of the thesis is to map this development on background of the Second World War, especially before and after the year 1938. The end of the Second World War resulted in downfall of German Museology in Liberec region. In the same time, Czech Museology took over the North-Bohemian Museum building including its rich collections. The whole development ends with radical change of the character of Museum, when it was transformed into Museum of National History and Geography.
