Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Oligopoly a teorie her se věnuje problematice teorie her ve spojitosti s oligopolní tržní strukturou, včetně praktických příkladů možného využití. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá oligopolní tržní strukturou - charakteristikou oligopolů, typy oligopolů, Cournotovým, Stackelbergovým a Bertrandovým modelem. Druhá kapitola je zaměřená na oblast teorie her související s využitím v oblasti oligopolů - na kooperativní a nekooperativní hry, vězňovo dilema, opakované hry. Třetí kapitola představuje praktické vyžití jednotlivých typů her jako je například vězňovo dilema, reklamní hra, Cournotův model pro duopol a pro n firem v oligopolní tržní struktuře.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Oligopoly and The Theory of Games deals with the issue of game theory in connection with the oligopoly market structure, including practical examples of possible use. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the oligopoly market structure - characteristics of oligopolies, types of oligopolies, Cournot, Stackelberg and Bertrand models. The second chapter is focused on the area of game theory related to use in the field of oligopolies - cooperative and non-cooperative games, prisoner's dilemma, repeated games. The third chapter presents the practical use of individual types of games such as the prisoner's dilemma, the advertising game, the Cournot model for a duopoly and for n firms in an oligopolistic market structure.
