Delivery childbirth at home against delivery at hospital

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem této práce bylo porovnat porod v domácím a nemocničním prostředí. Proč a na základě čeho se ženy rozhodují. Metodika: Pro získání dat byl použit nestandardizovaný dotazník, který byl sdílen pomocí sociální sítě. Dotazník byl vytvořen pro ženy rodící v nemocničním prostředí a pro ženy rodící v prostředí domácím. Průzkumné šetření probíhalo od prosince 2015 do ledna 2016. Všechna data byla graficky zpracována a posléze vyhodnocena. Výsledky: Po vyhodnocení výsledků praktické části práce byl porovnán porod v nemocničním a porod v domácím prostředí. Největší rozdíly jsou v intervencích, které se provádějí především u nemocničních porodů a při předporodní přípravě, která je u matek rodících doma daleko obsáhlejší. Bylo zjištěno, že ženy se pro porod doma rozhodují na základě předchozí negativní zkušenosti po porodu v nemocnici nebo na základě informací, které získaly. Také bylo zjištěno, že ženy po domácím porodu, by při dalším těhotenství opět rodily doma. Větší polovina žen po porodu v nemocnici zvažuje při dalším těhotenství porod doma. Závěr: Oba způsoby porodů mají svá pro a proti. Porod v nemocničním zařízení je více soustředěn na bezpečí matky a dítěte, avšak za cenu rutinních zásahů, narušování intimity a přání matky. Porod v domácím prostředí je zaměřen na soukromí a snaží se co nejvíce vyhovět přáním matky. Od toho se také odráží předporodní příprava matek a následný průběh obou porodů.

Abstract:

Target: The aim of my thesis was compare childbirth at home and childbirth at hospital. How the women decide and what depends on theirs decision. Methods: For gaining data was used non standardized questionnaire, which was shared via social network. The questionnaire was made for women delivering at the hospital and for women delivering at home. Exploration was conducted from December 2015 to January 2016. All data were graphically processed and then evaluated. Results: After evaluate results practical part, was compared childbirth at hospital and childbirth at home. The greatest differences are mainly in the interventions that are performed in the hospital births and during the antenatal preparation, which is far more voluminous by mothers delivering at home. It was found that women decide for delivering at home on the basis of own negative experiences after delivering at hospital, or on the basis of received information. It was also found that women after giving birth at home would like delivered again at home by next pregnancy. More than half of women after childbirth at the hospital considers another delivering at home. Conclusion: Both methods of childbirths have their pros and cons. Childbirth at the hospital is more focused on the mothers and children safety, but at the cost of routine interventions, invasions of intimacy and mothers desires. Childbirth at home is focused on privacy and trying as much as possible to meet the wishes of the mother. This is also reflected in antenatal preparation of mothers and the subsequent course of both births.
