Analysis of consumer behavior in railway transport

Abstract:

The diploma thesis aims to evaluate the importance of on-board servi-ce and comfort on the railway line R8 Brno - Přerov - Bohumín and to determine the willingness of passengers to pay more for the offered services. The work is divided into two basic parts. The first part con-sists of an overview of the relevant literature and a description of the researched route R8. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the consumer's own savings, methodology, analysis and the results of the thesis itself. These were compared at the end of the work with prede-termined hypotheses about passenger satisfaction on the train and the willingness to pay for services

Abstract:

Diplomová práca si dáva za cieľ vyhodnotiť význam palubného servisu a komfortu na železničnej trase R8 Brno – Přerov – Bohumín a zistenie ochoty cestujúcich zaplatiť viac za ponúkané služby. Práca je rozdelená do dvoch základných častí. Prvá z nich pozostáva z rešerše literatúry a popisu skúmanej trasy R8. Druhá časť práce je venovaná vlastnému spotrebiteľskému šetreniu, jeho metodológii, analýze a samotným vý-sledkom práce. Tie boli na konci práce porovnané s vopred stanove-nými hypotézami práce o spokojnosti cestujúcich vo vlaku a ochoty platiť viac za ponúkané služby
