Aspects of safety of the Czech Army soldiers participation in the international military operations.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá bezpečnostními aspekty nasazení příslušníků Armády České republiky v zahraničních operacích. Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout konkrétní doporučení, která povedou k vylepšení celého procesu a k minimalizaci rizik vojáků působících v operacích. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci rizik, kterým jsou vojáci vystaveni v průběhu svého nasazení, a na analýzu opatření, která jsou přijímána k minimalizaci těchto rizik. Praktická část práce je realizována pomocí dotazníkového šetření a jeho vyhodnocení. Dotazník je zaměřen na kvalitu a délku přípravy před nasazením na operaci, dále na jednotlivé bezpečnostní aspekty během zahraničních operací, na osobní pocity, problémy a zkušenosti vojáků před, během i po nasazení. V závěru práce jsou formulovány konkrétní návrhy na zlepšení celého procesu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the security aspects of the deployment of members of the Czech Republic Army in foreign operations. The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose specific recommendations that could improve the entire process and could minimize the risks which soldiers have to face during operations. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is focused on identification of the risks that soldiers are exposed to during their deployment and analysis of the measures that are taken to minimize these risks. The practical part of the work is implemented using a questionnaire survey and its evaluation. The questionnaire is focused on the quality and length of preparation before the deployment for an operation, as well as on individual security aspects during foreign operations, on the personal feelings, problems and experiences of soldiers before, during and after the deployment. In the end of the thesis, specific proposals for improving the entire process are formulated.
