Choir ending of Virgin Mary Assumption Church in Jihlava
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá závěrem presbytáře kostela Nanebevzetí Panny Marie při klášteře minoritů v Jihlavě, zbudovaném na přelomu 15. a 16. století. V práci zkoumám propojení její architektury a kamenické výzdoby s jižními Čechami, okolím Mnichova a se švábským Augsburgem. Práce rozebírá také iluzivní klenbu závěru, která má opět souvislost s Bavorskem a Augsburgem.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the choir ending of the minorite church of Assumption in Jihlava, which was built at the turn of 15th and 16th centuries. I‘m investigating connections of it‘s architecture and stone mason decoration with south Bohemia, surroundings of Munich and with swabian Augsburg.
