Abstract:
Diplomová práce se věnuje výzdobě inkrustacemi v kaplích, které byly založeny na podnět císaře Karla IV. Práce se pokouší nalézt původ vizuální inspirace pro tuto výzdobu. Na základě pramenů, které zaznamenaly cesty Karla IV., se práce zaměřuje na oblast severní Itálie, kde císař často pobýval. Abstract:
The diploma thesis is dealing with decorations scaling in chaples, which were founded at the initiative of the emperor Charles IV. This thesis attempts to find the origin of the visual inspiration for this decoration. Based on sources, which wrote down cities that Charles IV. often visited during his travels across Europe.
