Techno Subculture and Risk Phenomena Associated with Its Activities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce bude zaměřena na problematiku subkultur mládeže, konkrétně na problematiku techna a souvisejících aktivit. V rámci teoretických východisek se budeme zabývat vztahem kultury, alternativních kultur a subkultur v životě mládeže. Zvláštní pozornost bude věnována subkultuře vyznavačů techna a specifickým akcím realizovaným v rámci této subkultury, které jsou známé jako technoparty a souvisejícími s rizikovými jevy. Praktická část práce bude věnována prezentaci kvalitativně orientovaného šetření, jehož cílem je kvalitativní popis současného stavu v rámci této subkultury a výskytu rizikových jevů a rizikového chování v rámci akcí spojených s danou subkulturou. Sběr dat bude probíhat s využitím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s příznivci techno subkultury. Výstup práce bude využitelný pedagogickými pracovníky v rámci možných preventivních aktivit při práci s dětmi a mládeží.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis will be focused on the issues of youth subcultures, particularly the issues of techno and related activities. Within the theoretical background we will deal with the relationship between culture and alternative cultures and subcultures in the lives of youth. Special attention will be paid to the subculture of techno adherents and specific actions implemented within this subculture which are known as technoparties and associated with risk phenomena. The practical part will be devoted to the presentation of quality-oriented investigation aimed at qualitative description of the current status within the subculture and the occurrence of risk phenomena and risk behavior in actions associated with the subculture. For the data collection will be used semistructured interviews with supporters of techno subculture. The output of the bachelor thesis will be applicable for pedagogical workers in the framework of possible preventive activities while working with children and youth.
