Abstract:

V krátkém stop-motion animovaném filmu představíme příběh Člověka, který se pokouší přežít v pokrouceném světě ovládaném penězi, jak už napovídá název písně Money od skupiny Pink Floyd, která snímek ilustruje a zároveň zastupuje veškerou audio složku. Naše postava pracovníka se dostává do dluhové pasti, kdy konstantně nemá dostatek peněz pro nákup potravin. Je proto nucena odpracovat si svůj nákup chleba v podzemní továrně na peníze. Těžkou pracovní rutinu střídají snové pasáže, kdy dělník upadá do vlastních představ o blahobytu, ztělesněném krajíci chleba či zlatými mincemi. Po odpracování si svého dluhu, je postava poslána zpět na zemský povrch, kde se však nachází ve stejně bezvýchodné situaci jako na začátku.

Abstract:

In a short stop-motion animated film, we will present the story of a Man who tries to survive in a twisted world dominated by money, as already suggested by the title of the song Money by the band Pink Floyd, which illustrates the film and at the same time represents the entire audio component. Our worker character gets into a debt trap where he constantly doesn't have enough money to buy food. He is therefore forced to work off her bread purchase in an underground money factory. The hard work routine is alternated with dreamy passages, when the worker falls into his own ideas about well-being, embodied by slices of bread or gold coins. After paying off his debt, the character is sent back to Earth's surface, where he finds himself in the same hopeless situation as at the beginning.
