Diplomová práce se zabývá rozdíly mezi prvotní překladem audiovizuálního materiálu a jeho upravenou verzí pro dabing. K tomuto účelu používá korpus sestavený ze tří dílů seriálu Přátelé, který obsahuje anglický originál textu, jeho primární český překlad i překlad upravený pro dabing. The aim of this thesis is to explore the extent to which the restrictions of dubbing as a unique mode of audio-visual translation influence the dubbed version of a primary translation. For this purpose, it uses a corpus consisting of the primary translation, the adapted translation and the original English text of three episodes of the sitcom Friends.
