Mobile application for private financial planning

Abstract:

Many finance applications for mobile devices exist, but only few concentrate on the aspect of financial planning. The aim of the project is to create a mobile phone application for Android operating system, which is focused directly on the aspect of planning and transparency. The solution is approached by conducting a primary analysis of existing applications, based on which is grounded the processing of requirements, and the formation of use case diagram for the application. Next step in the development is creating the design of the individual screens. In the final stages of development, the application is implemented, tested and uploaded to Google Play. All those steps are successfully completed, and the application is currently on Google Play in an open testing stage. A higher goal of this application is to aid more people in expanding their understanding of their finances, thus enabling them to plan more efficiently. Future directions include further improvement of the application, allowing for an option to obtain the data about expenses and income directly from the banks or organisations, where the user’s finances are deposited.

Abstract:

Existuje veľa finančných aplikácií na mobilné zariadenia, ale málo z nich sa zameriava na aspekt plánovania. Cieľom práce je vytvorenie mobilnej aplikácie na operačný systém Android, ktorá je sústredená priamo na aspekt plánovania a prehľadu. K riešeniu je pristupované prvotnou analýzou už existujúcich aplikácii. Na jej základe je postavené spracovanie požiadaviek a vytvorenie diagramu prípadov užitia pre aplikáciu. Vo vývoji nasleduje vytvorenie návrhu jednotlivých obrazoviek. Na záver vývoja je aplikácia implementovaná, testovaná a nasadená na Google Play. Všetky tieto kroky sú úspešne splnené a aplikácia sa aktuálne nachádza v stave otvoreného testovania na Google Play. Vyšším cieľom aplikácie je pomôcť ľudom nahliadnuť do svojich financií a umožniť im tak lepšie plánovanie. Do budúcna je plánované aplikáciu obohatiť tak, aby dáta o výdajoch a príjmoch získavala priamo od bánk alebo organizácii, kde má používateľ svoje financie reálne uložené.
