The term “cyborg” has been in usage for some time, if only in the context of science-fiction. However, cyborg is not just a figment of our imagination. Kyborg je v bežnej reči už pomerne bežne zaužívaným pojmom minimálne medzi fanúšikmi vedeckej fantastiky. Kyborg však nie je len postavou našej fantázie. Táto práca predstaví pojem kyborga a kyborgizácie. Navyše ukáže a vymedzí kyborga ako nástroj používaný vo viacerých filozofických debatách.
