Annotated translation of a part of Nikolay Mikhailovich Karamzin´s travelogue

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je seznámit čtenáře s teorií a s praxí překladu. V teoretické části práce je pozornost věnována nejen obecné teorii překladu, ale také seznámení s životem a dílem Nikolaje Michajloviče Karamzina. V praktické části se práce věnuje překladu románu ??????? ???????? ???????????????? výše uvedeného autora. Kromě toho je praktická část věnována analýze překladatelských metod, které byly při překladu této knihy použity.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce the reader to the theory and practice of translation. In the theoretical part of the thesis, attention is given not only to the general theory of translation, but also to the life and work of Nikolai Mikhailovich Karamzin. In the practical part of the thesis, the translation of the novel "?????? ???????? ???????????????" by the above-mentioned author is discussed. In the practical part, it is also devoted to the analysis of the translation methods used in the translation of this book.
