Higher order cycloidal curves
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá zobecněním pojmu cykloida a studiem geometrických vlastností takových cyklických křivek vyšších řádů, především z pohledu kinematické geometrie. V práci vytvoříme příklady modelových konstrukcí s využitím programu GeoGebra. Nakonec se pokusíme najít a uvést potenciál studovaných křivek v jejich aplikaci a jejich využití v oblasti výuky na středních školách.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with a generalization of the idea of cycloids and with the study of such higher order cycloid curves, especially from kinematic geometry view. Examples of the model constructions are created in this thesis using GeoGebra programme. We will also try to find and introduce an aplication potential of studied curves and their usage in the secondary school education.
