Spokojenost seniorů ve vybraných Domovech pro seniory v Brně

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, zda senioři žijící ve vybraných domovech pro seniory v Brně jsou se svým životem spokojeni. Zjistit, čeho si v zařízeních nejvíce cení, případně co je zdrojem jejich nespokojenosti. V teoretické části se zaměřím na pojmy, které podle mého názoru mají vliv na spokojenost seniora v pobytové službě, a popíši změny a proměnu potřeb, které zpravidla období stáří provázejí. Dále se zaměřím na roli seniora v současné rodině, popíši definice životní spokojenosti, uvedu možné sociální souvislosti vstupu seniora do zařízení a budu se věnovat faktorům, které ovlivňují spokojenost seniora v pobytové službě. Ve výzkumné části nejprve popíši postup při realizaci výzkumu a na základě analýzy rozhovorů s respondenty provedu shrnutí a interpretaci výsledků výzkumu.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to find out if seniors living in selected retirement homes in the city of Brno are satisfied with their lives. Next, this work aims to find out what they appreciate most in the homes, or what the reason for their dissatisfaction is. In the theoretical part I focus on concepts which, in my opinion, affect a senior’s satisfaction with residential services. I describe changes and shift in needs which usually go along with the period of old age. Furthermore, I focus on a senior’s role in family today, I describe definitions of life satisfaction, and I state possible social contexts of an admission of seniors to homes. I also pay attention to factors which influence senior’s satisfaction in residential service. In the research part I describe the process of conducting research first and then, based on an analysis of interviews with respondents, I make a summary and interpretation of the research results.
