Možnosti využití Big Data pro Competitive Intelligence

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou možností využití Big Data pro metody a postupy Competitive Intelligence. Cílem práce je navrhnout nástrojové sady pro práci s Big Data pro malé a velké firmy a následný návrh efektivního řešení pro získání konkurenční výhody podniku. Teoretická část této práce zpracovává dostupnou odbornou literaturu v České republice i v zahraničí a popisuje aktuální stav Competitive Intelligence, jeho možné zdroje a Big Data jako jeden z nich. Následně se práce věnuje charakteristice Big Data, jejich odlišnosti od práce s běžnými daty, nutností důsledné přípravy a možnosti jejich využití pro metody Competitive Intelligence. Praktická část práce se zabývá analýzou dostupných nástrojů Big Data na trhu s ohledem na celý proces práce od sběru dat, přes analýzu až po přípravu reportů a integrace celého řešení do automatizovaného stavu. Výstupem této části je návrh softwarové sady nástrojů Big Data pro malé a velké firmy podle možností jejich rozpočtu. Návrhová část práce se následně věnuje klasifikaci nejperspektivnějších oblastí trhu pro využití Big Data, možnými způsoby získání konkurenční výhody v jednotlivých oblastech a návrhem efektivního řešení pro podniky. Přínosem této práce je rozšíření palety zdrojů pro Competitive Intelligence a hloubková analýza možností využití Big Data, která má pomoci profesionálům využít tento dosud neobjevený potenciál ke zlepšení postavení na trhu, získání nových zákazníků a posílení současné uživatelské základny.

Abstract:

The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate the use of Big Data for the methods and procedures of Competitive Intelligence. Among the goals of the work is a toolkit for small and large businesses which is supposed to support their work with the whole process of Big Data work. Another goal is to design an effective solution of processing Big Data to gain a competitive advantage in business. The theoretical part of the work processes available scientific literature in the Czech Republic and abroad as well as describes the current state of Competitive Intelligence, and Big Data as one of its possible sources. Subsequently, the work deals with the characteristics of Big Data, the differences from working with common data, the need for a thorough preparation and Big Data applicability for the methods of Competitive Intelligence. The practical part is focused on analysis of Big Data tools available in the market with regard to the whole process from data collection to the analysis report preparation and integration of the entire solution into an automated state. The outcome of this part is the Big Data software toolkit for small and large businesses based on their budget. The final part of the work is devoted to the classification of the most promising business areas, which can benefit from the use of Big Data the most in order to gain competitive advantages and proposes the most effective solution of working with Big Data. Among other benefits of this work are expansion of the range of resources for Competitive Intelligence and in-depth analysis of possibilities of Big Data usage, designed to help professionals make use of this hitherto untapped potential to improve market position, gain new customers and strengthen the existing user base.

Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou možností využitia Big Data pre metódy a postupy Competitive Intelligence. Cieľom práce je návrh nástrojovej sady pre prácu s Big Data pre malé a veľké firmy a následný návrh efektívneho riešenia pre získanie konkurenčnej výhody v podniku. Teoretická časť tejto práce spracováva dostupnú odbornú literatúru v Českej republike i v zahraničí a popisuje aktuálny stav Competitive Intelligence, jeho možné zdroje a Big Data ako jeden z nich. Následne sa práca venuje charakteristike Big Data, ich odlišnosti od práce s bežnými dátami, nutnosťou dôslednej prípravy a možnosti ich využitia pre metódy Competitive Intelligence. Praktická časť práce sa zaoberá analýzou dostupných nástrojov Big Data na trhu s ohľadom na celý proces práce od zberu dát, cez analýzu až po prípravu reportov a integrácie celého riešenia do automatizovaného stavu. Výstupom tejto časti je návrh softvérovej sady nástrojov Big Data pre malé a veľké firmy podľa možností ich rozpočtu. Návrhová časť práce sa následne venuje klasifikácii najperspektívnejších oblastí trhu pre využitie Big Data, možnými spôsobmi získania konkurenčnej výhody v jednotlivých oblastiach a návrhom efektívneho riešenia pre podniky. Prínosom tejto práce je rozšírenie palety zdrojov pre Competitive Intelligence a hĺbková analýza možností využitia Big Data, ktorá má pomôcť profesionálom využiť tento doposiaľ neobjavený potenciál k zlepšeniu postavenia na trhu, získaniu nových zákazníkov a posilneniu súčasnej užívateľskej základne.
