Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Historie a metodika měření zrakové ostrosti pomocí optotypů je členěná do osmi oddílů. První kapitola se obecně zabývá pojmem zrakové ostrosti, jejím vývojem a rozdělením. Druhá část je věnována hlavním faktorům ovlivňující zrakovou ostrost-anatomické stavbě lidského oka, refrakčním a fyziologickým vadám. Ve třetím oddíle je definován pojem světlo, fyzikální veličiny a zákony s ním související. V následující kapitole je popsán historický vývoj vyšetřování zrakové ostrosti od starověku, kdy hvězdná obloha a hořčičná semena sloužila lidem k ověření jejich kvality vidění, přes zlomové devatenácté století, které je právem nazýváno jako Zlatý věk oftalmologie, po druhou polovinu století dvacátého, která je spjatá se vznikem nejnovějšího typu optotypů-ETDRS. Pátá kapitola se zabývá metodami a vyjádřením výsledku vízu. Samotné optotypové znaky a symboly, pomocí nichž je zraková ostrost vyšetřována, jsou společně s možnými typy a konstrukcí optotypů uvedeny v kapitole šesté. Předposlední oddíl popisuje postup subjektivního vyšetření pomocí brýlové skříně se sadou zkušebních čoček a zkušební obrubou. Úplný závěr je pak věnován malému průzkumu, jaké typy optotypů se dnes nejčastěji používají ve vybraných nemocnicích, u soukromých očních lékařů a optometristů.

Abstract:

The bachelor work called History and methodology of visual acuity assessment by means of optotypes is divided into eight parts. The first chapter deals with visual acuity in common, its development and also their types. The second part is devoted to the main factors affected the visual acuity- anatomy of the eye, refractive and physiological errors. In the third section we can find the definition of the term of light, the physical values and the main laws of geometrical optics. In the next part is described the historical evolution of visual acuity measurement from the ancient world, when the starry sky and mustard seeds serve to the people to check their quality vision, through the responsible 19th century rightly called Golden age of ophthalmology, till 20th century linked with emergence of the latest type of optotype- ETDRS. Fifth chapter deals with the methods and the expression of the results of visual acuity. The marks and symbols of the optotype used for the eye examination, types and construction of the visual acuity test are listed in sixth section together. The last but one chapter describes process of eye examination by subjective method using optometrist's trial frame with trial lenses for eye test. The very end is attended to a little research what types of optotypes are most common in selected hospitals, at the private ophthalmologist and the optometrists.
