Learning styles of pupils and their impact on the application of the principle of clarity in literary education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou názornosti v literární výchově. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na uvedení čtenáře do problematiky. Zabývá se literární komunikací a jejími hlavními činiteli; v případě vyučování do tohoto procesu vstupuje učitel. Do souvislosti s názornými aktivitami v hodinách literatury jsou dány učební styly žáků. Praktickou část práce tvoří vlastní výzkum, kterým je zjišťováno, zda učební styl žáků ovlivňuje preference ostenzivních aktivit v hodinách literární výchovy a zda s výsledky koresponduje subjektivně hodnocená frekvence aktivit.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with a matter of illustrative nature in literature classes. The theoretical part is focused on the introduction of the reader to the matter. It also deals with literary communication and with its main factors; in case of school classes the teacher enters into this process. Pupils' learning styles are connected with illustrative activities in literature classes. The practical part of the thesis is composed of actual research which proves whether pupils' learning style influences preferences of the ostensive activities in literature classes and whether a subjectively evaluated frequency of the activities corresponds with the results.
