Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Air Freight Transport

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá leteckou nákladní dopravou během pandemie COVID-19 a jejím vlivem na přepravu nákladu. V prvním bodě je přiblížena letecká nákladní doprava od historických počátků, mezinárodní krize v letectví, formy, druhy a proces letecké nákladní přepravy. Ve druhé části je popsána pandemie COVID-19 s následnou analýzou vlivu na nákladní leteckou přepravu zboží a leteckou dopravu během let 2018 až 2022. Třetí kapitola se zabývá návrhy opatření k rozvoji letecké nákladní přepravy po pandemii s vylepšeními či usnadněními leteckého nákladního procesu. Čtvrtá kapitola je zakončena posouzením a vyhodnocením opatření s doporučením k dalšímu rozvoji.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with air cargo transport during the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the transport of goods. In the first point, air freight transport from its historical beginnings, the international crisis in aviation, the forms, types and process of air freight transport are approached. In the second part, the COVID-19 pandemic is described, followed by an analysis of the impact on air cargo transport of goods and air transport during the years 2018 to 2022. The third chapter deals with proposed measures for the development of air cargo transport after the pandemic and improvements or facilitation of the air cargo process. The last fourth chapter of the thesis is concluded with an assessment and evaluation of measures with a recommendation for further development.
