Josef Blau's collection of short stories Der Honigbaum und andere Geschichten

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on a collection of short stories from the border region, around Nýrsko and Šumava. The thesis deals first with the author of the stories, then with other authors and artists from this era, and finally with each story individually. It points out the plot, but also, for example, the main themes of the stories, which are all in common. These include border crossings, various cultural and work customs from the area, and so on. Last but not least, the thesis also deals with the time and location of each short story. These locations are marked on the attached map.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na sbírku povídek z pohraničí, okolo Nýrska a Šumavy. Práce se věnuje nejdříve autorovi povídek, poté dalším autorům a umělcům z této doby a nakonec každé jedné povídce zvlášť. Poukazuje na děj, ale i například hlavní témata povídek, která jsou společná. Jedná se o přecházení hranic, různé kulturní i pracovní zvyky z této oblasti a podobně. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá i časovými údaji a lokalitou jednotlivých povídek. Tato místa jsou vyznačena v přiložené mapě.
