Teachers code of ethics in primary education: the international comparation

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce je zjistit zájem o jednotný etický kodex učitele základní školy v České republice. Poté komparovat etické kodexy, které mají svůj etický kodex jakožto interní dokument, a hledat společné kategorie. Teoretická část diplomové práce pojednává o profesní etice a profesních hodnotách. Dále se věnuji etickým kodexům v ČR. Výzkumná část se zabývá porovnáním etických kodexů, které si stanovily samy školy v České republice, hledáme společné kategorie pro tvorbu jednotného etického kodexu. Následně tyto společné zákonitosti a body těchto kodexů komparujeme s americkým etickým kodexem učitele.

Abstract:

The aim of my work is to find out the interest in a uniform code of ethics of a primary school teacher in the Czech Republic. Then compare the codes of ethics, which have their own code of ethics as an internal document, and look for common categories. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with professional ethics and professional values. I also deal with ethical codes in the Czech Republic. The research part deals with the comparison of codes of ethics, which were set by the schools in the Czech Republic themselves, we are looking for common categories for creating a unified code of ethics. Subsequently, we will compare these common principles and points of these codes with the American teacher code of ethics.
