Tato diplomová práce pojednává o kvantitativním výzkumu, který proběhl mezi žáky několika středních škol v České republice. Žáci vyplnili dotazník, jehož cílem bylo zjistit jejich povědomí o britské a americké angličtině a zároveň, kterou z těchto variant preferují a zjistit důvody pro tuto preferenci. Abstract:
The present thesis reports on quantitative research conducted among students at several secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Students completed a questionnaire to explore their awareness of British and American English and to find out which of these standards they preferred.
