The theme of obsession in the work of Darren Aronofsky.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the theme of obsession throughout the work of American director Darren Aronofsky. It particularly focuses on the existentialist aspects and further discusses the influence of existentialism upon his work. The structure of Aronofsky's work is analyzed through Joseph Campbell's concept of myth.

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem posedlosti napříč dílem amerického režiséra Darrena Aronofskyho. Zaměřuje se především na aspekty existencialismu a dále rozebírá vliv existencialismu na jeho dílo. Struktura Aronofskyho díla je analyzována skrze pojetí mýtu Joshepha Campbella.
