Occupational therapy in children with cerebral palsy in their home

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem ergoterapie dětí s mozkovou obrnou v domácím prostředí. Přináší teoretické poznatky problematiky i praktickou ukázku v rámci kazuistiky. V první části práce jsou shrnuty teoretické poznatky k diagnóze mozkové obrny, její léčbě včetně ergoterapie a v neposlední řadě je věnován prostor možnostem ergoterapie v domácím prostředí. Druhá část práce obsahuje kazuistiku klientky s touto diagnózou. V kazuistice je zahrnuto vstupní ergoterapeutické hodnocení, jednotlivé ergoterapeutické intervence probíhající v domácím prostředí, výstupní ergoterapeutické hodnocení a následně stanovený dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis covers the topic of occupational therapy in children with cerebral palsy in their home environment. It provides theoretical knowledge of the issue as well as a clinical example in a form of a case study. In the first part of the thesis, theoretical information regarding the diagnosis of cerebral palsy and its therapy including occupational therapy, is given. Last but not least, the occupational therapy in a home environment is described. The second part of the thesis contains a case study of a child client with this diagnosis. In the case study an initial occupational therapy assessment, individual occupational therapies in her home environment, a final occupational therapy assessment and a following long-term plan are given.
