Abstract:

Teoretická část vysvětlí, co znamená pojem “Duševní hygiena”, bude obsahovat historii vývoje a moderní pohled na toto téma. Na příkladu pozice manažera si uvedeme, co způsobuje nerovnováhu v osobním a profesním rozvoji, proč povolání manažera je ohroženo stavem nazývaným „profesionální vyhoření“ a jaké existují způsoby, jak se vypořádat se stresem. Hlavní myšlenkou mé bakalářské práce je, že psychické problémy jsou velmi často podceňovány, i když by se s nimi mělo zacházet stejně jako s fyzickými. Nedostatek pozornosti věnované duševní hygieně člověka může vést k velmi reálným psychosomatickým problémům. V praktické části si uvedeme výsledky šetření, které bude provedeno pomocí hloubkových strukturovaných rozhovorů s vybraným vzorkem respondentů manažerů. Praktická část je založena na rozhovorech se čtyřmi vybranými manažery vybraných firem z různých oborů: cestovní ruch, mediální zastoupení, pohostinství a ubytování a bezpečnost. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak často manažeři podléhají stresovým situacím a co je hlavní příčinou nevyváženosti mezi pracovním a soukromým životem a zda si uvědomují základní pravidla duševní hygieny. Součástí závěru budou i obecná doporučení nejen jak aplikovat pravidla duševní hygieny v pracovním a soukromém životě, ale i kterým dovednostem a návykům se naučit pro zachování životní rovnováhy.

Abstract:

The theoretical part will explain what the term "Mental Hygiene" means, it will contain the history of development and a modern view of the topic. Using the example of a manager's position, we will show what causes an imbalance in personal and professional development, why the manager's profession is threatened by a condition called "professional burnout" and what are the ways to deal with stress. The main idea of my bachelor's thesis is that mental problems are very often underestimated, although they should be treated the same as physical ones. Lack of attention to human mental hygiene can lead to very real psychosomatic problems. In the practical part, we will present the results of the survey, which will be conducted through in-depth structured interviews with a selected sample of respondents from managers. The practical part is based on interviews with 4. selected managers of selected companies from various fields: tourism, media representation, hospitality and accommodation, security. The aim of the work is to find out how often managers are subject to stressful situations and what is the main cause of the imbalance between work and private life and whether they are aware of the basic rules of mental hygiene. The conclusion will also include general recommendations not only on how to apply the rules of mental hygiene in work and private life, but also which skills and habits to learn to maintain life balance.
