Development trends of the internal combustion engine

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma spalovacích motorů, jejich inovativní konstrukce a zdokonalování. V úvodu této práce je pojednáváno o vývojové posloupnosti spalovacích motorů a vynálezců, kteří značně přispěli do jejich vývoje. Na to je navázáno rozdělení motorů podle základních parametrů, kterými jsou typy paliva, výměny směsi ve válci, průběhu a způsobu spalování směsi a podle konstrukčního uspořádání. Dále je práce zaměřena na současné řešení konstrukcí, a je zde kladen důraz na jejich problematiku spjatou se spalováním a prouděním plynů ve válci. V závěrečné části práce jsou popsány motory, které by mohly nalézt uplatnění v budoucnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of internal combustion engines, their innovative design and improvement. The introduction of this thesis discusses the development sequence of internal combustion engines and the inventors who have contributed significantly to their development. This is followed by the classification of engines according to their basic parameters, which are fuel types, mixture exchange in the cylinder, the process and method of combustion of the mixture and the design. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the current designs, and emphasis is placed on their issues related to combustion and gas flow in the cylinder. The final part of the thesis describes engines that could find application in the future.
