Diplomová práce se věnuje významu a přínosu protipovodňových opatření na území města Mělníka a v jeho okolí, v kontextu ochrany života a zdraví obyvatel i jejich majetku. This thesis is focused on the importance and benefit of flooding protection in the area of the Mělník city and its outskirts as far as the protection of the life, health and property of the citizens is concerned. In this thesis we are focusing on certain geographical characteristics of a flooding area made by Vltava and Elbe rivers. We are classifying the historically most tremendous floods in this …more
